- If you have OEM SYNC2 touchscreen in your 2013 - 2016 Ford Super Duty truck, you need to get this unit instead.
- How to remove OEM radio refer to: https://youtu.be/4VPFWM9nwjE
- For 2008 - 2010 model years, two OEM trapezoidal pieces will be moved over. For 2011 - 2016 model years, you will use the two trapezoidal pieces we provide.
- Depending on the model year and whether you have manual or auto AC, the ac board connectors at the back are different. If it's 2008 - 2010 auto AC, there are two 26 pin connectors used. If 2008 - 2010 manual AC, only one of the aforementioned connectors will be connected, but another 4 pin connector for fan speed is used. For 2011 - 2016 model years, there is only one 32 pin connector connecting to OEM AC connector.
- Connect matching connectors to the vehicle. Leave unmatched ones disconnected.
- To make connections to the head unit, just match connectors and/or labels. If on-screen AC control is not working, check if 8 pin connector with green and green/black or white and white/black wires is connected to the back of the unit.
- We have adapters available to retain OEM camera image, no matter whether it's on the OEM screen or in the inside rearview mirror. We also supply a Ford camera decoder box to improve the image quality. Connect male RCA from the adapter to the decoder box; then connect the male RCA coming out of the decoder box to female RCA labeled 'CCD Camera'. The three pin connector from the decoder needs to be connected to the main harness three pin connector to get power.
